A Message From Our Pastor
In times like these, when so much in our lives seems uncertain, we need to know that some things never change. We have a God we can depend on. There are people who will be there for us. Our lives still have meaning and purpose.
Our congregation has been here over 175 years, and by God’s grace, we don’t plan to go anywhere. We are here for you, offering several weekend worship options, staffed ministries for children, youth and people with special needs, an excellent weekday parents’ day out program, a variety of adult LifeGroups and local missions opportunities, and dedicated prayer and care teams ready to help in times of need.
If you’re looking for a place to connect with God and grow in faith … a family to call your own … an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others .. we would love to have you join us.

Ministries | Serve
At Open Hearts UMC, our ministries nurture faith at every stage, from children to adults, fostering growth, community, and service in Bolivar and the surrounding area.
Children's Ministry
Kids grow in Jesus’ love through fun, Bible-based activities on Sundays and Wednesdays.
Youth Group
6th-12th graders join Wednesday nights at 6 PM for faith growth and fellowship.
Special Needs
Host Night to Shine prom for ages 14+, celebrating God’s love and unique worth.
Music | Choir
Praise God through song Wednesdays 7-8 PM; classical, gospel, and seasonal cantatas.
Local Missions
Partner with PCCSM to provide clothing and aid, serving Bolivar families in need.
